The Designer Forum (the name behind the Design-Online website) is part of the support organisation - East Midlands Textile Association (EMTEX).
Established in 1994, EMTEX is widely recognised as the UK's leading textiles trade support organisation.
With the East Midlands employing over 85,000 people in 2,300 clothing & textile companies, it is the largest clothing & textiles region in the UK & Europe.
Emtex helps generate new business for the region and assists companies to introduce new technologies and working practices. We also aid clothing and textile manufacturers to develop trade within the global marketplace.
Currently EMTEX has around 800 + members that are supported through: the Designer Forum, Education, Recruitment, Business services + discounted offers.
Members can access support for: Health and Safety, Employment law, Legal advice, Sourcing, Global contacts, UK networks, as well as a vast array of deals and referrals.
