Membership

Emtex and the Designer Forum are a membership-driven trade organisation and currently have over 1500 members ranging from leading international retailers, designer & brand labels, manufacturers, freelancers and students / academia with membership lavels available on an individual basis or as a business.

Student members:

  • Trends Resource Centre - Students can access the EMTEX / Designer Forum resource centre. Houses trend publications and inhouse online Stylesight. Available on a pre-booking system only.

Freelance members:

  • Trend Resource Centre - Freelancers can access the EMTEX / Designer Forum resource centre. Houses trend publications and inhouse online Stylesight. Available on a pre-booking system only.
  • Directory of Freelancers - Freelancers can have their details added on the directory of freelance designers, pattern cutters and graders
  • Members List - Freelancers can request 1 hardcopy membership list (1 per year) of all other EMTEX / Designer Forum members. This details the company name, address, tel, fax and website (where available)

Company and Retail members:

  • Trends Resource Centre - Companies and retailers can access the EMTEX / Designer Forum resource centre. Houses trend publications and inhouse online Stylesight. Available on a pre-booking system only
  • Members List - Companies and retailers can request 1 hardcopy members list (1 per year) of all other EMTEX / Designer Forum members. This details the company name, address, tel fax and website (where available)

  • Sourcing - From a large database of textile companies inc. CMT units, manufacturers, printers, embroiders, technical textile companies, label suppliers, etc
  • Chargeable Top Level Mentoring
  • Recruitment Sevice - For any textile vacancies any where in the UK. Cost to send out an advert to 7,000 textile contacts is £350+VAT for non members and £150+VAT for members
  • Adverts within the EMTEX / Designer Forum ENEWS  - The ENEWS goes out to 7,000 textile contacts across the UK. Adverts cost £65+VAT for non members and £25+VAT for members.
